Abstract:
To provide a gas-barrier material excellent in gas-barrier properties against oxygen, steam and the like by impregnating a paper-made base material with a mixed solution of a water-soluble polymer and an inorganic laminar compound, and to impart high gas-barrier properties even to a steric molding especially like a pulp mold since the gas-barrier material can give a paper material having high gas-barrier properties without laminating a film or the like.
At least one side of a paper-made base material is impregnated with the mixed solution containing a water-soluble polymer and an inorganic laminar compound to produce a gas-barrier material having the composite coating film of these materials.
