Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3824148
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas chromatograph capable of suppressing the temperature effects of cooling air on a sample introducing part and a detector unit arranged in external wall surfaces of a forced-air-cooled oven. SOLUTION: In the gas chromatograph constituted in such way as to forcefully cool the external surfaces of the oven by air in which either the sample introducing part or a detector or both are arranged, shield plates 6a and 6b are provided in front of and behind the sample introducing part and the detector unit 2 arranged in a flow of the cooling air passing through a front surface door 3 and flowing over the upper surface 4 of the oven. Therefore, the unit 2 is not directly exposed to the cooling air due to the shield plates 6a and 6b, and temperature variations in each unit is improved.
