PURPOSE: To prevent the flame produced by a burner to be blown out by an air flow thereby improving the operability and safety of the cooker by a construction wherein an auxiliary burner provided in part of the burner within the cooker body is shielded by means of an air flow shield casing.
CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary burner 10 is formed integrally in part of a burner 4 having a plurality of flame holes 9 inside a range 3 located in a table 1 and is shielded by an air flow shield casing 13 having an exhaust gas window 14. The window 14 of the air flow shield casing 13 is located outside of the outer peripheral edge of a cooker means 6 disposed above the burner 4. Even if the flame 12 emitted through the flame holes 9 is blown out by the air flow part of the flame 12' of the burner 10 is not blown out because it is located within the casing 13. A part of the flame 12' serves as a pilot flame which will leap to the flame holes 9, and so there is no possibility of the flame 12 to be extinguished during roasting of the food.
