PURPOSE: To provide a gas detecting device, wherein heat is generated by contact of combustible gas with connecting portion between two system lead wires made of metal or alloy and change in heat electromotive force appearing on both terminals of the connecting portion is detected, whereby reliability of gas detection is enhanced and stability is improved.
