Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated gas electron amplifier module that can be mounted with ease.SOLUTION: A gas electron amplifier module comprises: a cathode electrode; a reading electrode opposed to the cathode electrode; a gas electron amplifier electrode arranged between the cathode electrode and the reading electrode, and that has a plurality of through-holes penetrating in a direction connecting between the cathode electrode and the reading electrode, and that consists of an insulating layer, and a conductive layer formed on both surfaces of the insulating layer; a chamber that surrounds the cathode electrode, the reading electrode, and the gas electron amplifier electrode; and a connection terminal that can electrically connect between the exterior of the chamber, and the cathode electrode, the reading electrode, and the gas electron amplifier electrode. The chamber is encapsulated, and filled with an ionization gas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
