Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a gas flow meter of which measurement is not affected by the occurrence of pulsation of the flow of gas.
CONSTITUTION: The gas flow meter comprises a flow sensor 28 that is attached to a gas pipeline and measures flow rate of a gas, a sampling program 25 that reads measurement values from the flow sensor 28 every specified first sampling time and converts them into digital values and a gas consumption amount calculation program 27 that calculates the consumption amount during a predetermined time period from the digital values read by the sampling program 25. It further comprises an average calculation program 26 that reads measurement values of the flow sensor 28 every second prescribed time in a prescribed measuring time at the first sampling time and converts them into digital values to calculate the average thereof.
