Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain excellent igniting performance and reduce uncomfortable feeling, given to a user upon igniting, by a method wherein a gas range is provided with a gas flow setting means, moving a flow rate changing member to an intermediate flow rate position, corresponding to intermediate heating power, even when a regulating lever is set at weak heating power or strong heating power.
SOLUTION: When an operating button 2 is pushed under a condition that strong combustion is set, a swing plate 18 is turned about a fixed shaft and the setting unit 22 of the swinging plate 18 returns the setting guide 24 of a heating power regulating lever 8 to an intermediate heating power position. On the contrary, under a condition that weak combustion is set, the other setting unit 22 of the swing plate 18 returns the other setting guide 24 of the heating power regulating lever 8 to the intermediate heating power position. As a result, when the fire extinguishing operation is effected under the condition that strong heating power combustion or weak heating power combustion is set, the heating power regulating lever 8 is moved to the intermediate flow rate position in conjunction with the operation of the fire extinguishing operation and the flow rate of gas, supplied to a burner 10, is set at the intermediate flow rate.
