Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas pipe exchange work method capable of simplifying an ignition test of a gas instrument of respective dwelling unit of multiple dwelling house while ensuring a safety at a gas pipe exchange work.
SOLUTION: In the gas pipe exchange work method, after a connection pipe for connecting a main pipe and a vertical pipe in a pipe shaft of the multiple swelling house is exchanged, an air purge is performed only at a gas meter part nearest (the most upstream) to a connection position of the connection pipes and the vertical pipe in the pipe shaft. A remained air does not almost exist in the gas pipe in the multiple dwelling house by performing the air purge at the most upstream gas meter part and the ignition test regarding the dwelling unit having the gas meters other than the gas meters performed with the air purge is not required.
