Abstract:

To provide a gas reformer which prevents a gas flow passage from being clogged by deposits within a reformer body.

The gas reformer 10 is equipped with a reformer body 10a in which thermal cracking gas and an oxidizing agent for reforming react, an inlet 12, and an outlet 13. The bottom of the reformer body 10a is provided with a deposit storage section 15 above the outlet 13. The deposits produced in the reformer body 10a are stored in the deposit storage section 15 and do not therefore clog the gas flow passage communicating with the outlet 13.
