Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop the execution of a source step in each repeat in the case of source- debugging a program to be inspected having repeat processing by executing the source step.
SOLUTION: The source step executing method includes a process for reading out an instruction of an address P from a program storing area, executing the read instruction, writing data indi-cating the execution of the instruction of the address P in an execution history storing area, and storing the address P' of an instruction to be executed after the execution of the instruction of the address P, a process for checking whether the address P' to be read out next is included within a range of the start address S and end address E of a row N or not, and when the address P' is included within the range, checking data in the execution history storing area of the address P', and when the data are not execpt-ed, repeating the execution and processing of an instruction again and a process for judging that the address P' leaves from the range of a program code in the row N when the address P' is the outside of the range, informing an output device of the execution completion of the source step, judging the execution of repeat processing in the range of the program code of the row N when the address P' has been executed and informing of the execution com-pletion.
