Title:
GAS SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010276354
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To maintain contact properties between the electrode of a ceramic heater and a terminal metal.

When a rear end of the ceramic heater 100 has been completely stored in a storage section 125, a contact section 31 is in contact with an electrode pad 121. Thus, heater lead wires 12b, 12c are conductively connected to the electrode pad 121. An urging section 34 abuts on a tip-turning surface 123e, and urges a rotation suppression section 123 in a direction toward a rear end side from a tip side of the gas sensor 10. The urging section 34 prevents slip-out of the ceramic heater 100 from the storage section 125. When the ceramic heater 100 has been stored in the storage section 125 of a separator 18, outer surfaces 123a, 123b, 123c, 123d of the rotation suppression section 123 oppose inner wall surfaces 125a, 125b, 125c, 125d, respectively of the storage section 125, thus suppressing rotation of the ceramic heater 100.
