Abstract:
PURPOSE: To detect specified gas in high accuracy and high reliability, by detecting absorbtion infrared rays of gas to be detected passing through a narrow- band filter by a pyroelectric type infrared ray detector.
CONSTITUTION: A narrow-band filter 19 of a sensor 8 transmits only prescribed wavelength infrared rays absorbed by leaked gas. An electric charge is generated from a pyroelectric type infrared ray detector 1 in accordance with the light quantity of this transmitted infrared rays and a leaked gas detection signal is given through a switching transistor etc. and then, specified gas is detected in high accuracy and high reliability.
