Abstract:
To provide a gas-shield arc welding method capable of efficiently suppressing the occurrence of blow-holes and pits in welding of plated steel sheets containing zinc.
The gas-shield arc welding method comprises generating ark AC between welding base materials P1, P2 being the zinc plated steel sheet and a welding wire W, and jetting shielding gas SG onto the welding base materials P1, P2 so as to surround a contact chip 32. Mixed gas obtained by adding ozone to the essential component gas is used as the shielding gas SG.
