PURPOSE: To improve NOx reduction effect of steam in a gas turbine combustor by constituting same such that a swirler is communicated at the inner periphery thereof to a water supply device so that water steam is flowed along inside the primary air flow from the swirler.
CONSTITUTION: A nozzle 208 is formed at the end of an outer tube 207b of a double pipe at which the outer tube 207b is connected to an inner tube 207a such that it is inclined to close the end of the double pipe. A swirler 203 is formed at the inclined section at the end of the outer tube 207b to be directed inwardly towards the axis of a fuel nozzle 201. Liquid furl is supplied to a combustor 202 from the fuel nozzle 201. Primary air for combustion is supplied to the combustor 202 through the swirler 203 and the outer peripheral section 204 of the swirler 203, and additionally, air passing through a pipe 205 is supplied to the combustor from the nozzle front face 206. Water steam or gas fuel for reduction of NOx is injected into the combustor 202 from the nozzle 208 by way of the double pipe 207, thereby reducing the amount of production of smoke and improving ignition and blow-out of the combustor.
