Abstract:

PURPOSE: To perform safely continuous operation of a gas turbine body by a method wherein an exhaust gas temperature and an exhaust gas pressure at a turbine outlet, the inlet temperature of a turbine, and the inlet pressure of turbine are measured, and based on the measurements thereof, turbine efficiency is calculated.
CONSTITUTION: Temperature TT4 and a total pressure PT4 at the inlet of a turbine 2 and an exhaust gas temperature TT5 and a pressure PT5 at the outlet of the turbine 2 are measured and turbine efficiency is determined through a given formula. By deciding the change of a calculating turbine efficiency, dust accumulation or erosion of the turbine are detected. This constitution detects an adverse influence on the gas turbine body side owing to wear of a blade caused by dust accumulation and secular erosion of a PFBC plant gas turbine during continuous operation and high reliability operation is executed.
