Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make storable gaseous hydrocarbon in a large quantity at a limited storage space of a car. etc., by constituting an adsorbing agent being an inorg.- based or an inorg./org. hybrid based mesoporous body, containing an org. group and/or a functional group on the fine pore wall surface and adsorbing a gaseous hydrocarbon specified in carbon numbers.
SOLUTION: The hydrocarbon adsorbing agent is an inorg.-based or the inorg./org. hybrid-based mesoporous body and constituted of the porous body containing the org. group and/or the functional group on the fine pore wall surface and adsorbs a 1-4C gaseous hydrocarbon. Here, the mesoporous body is an inorg.-based or the inorg./org. hybrid (composite)-based porous solid material having open fine pores having for example 0.5 mm-50 nm center fine pore diameter. And, the inorg.-based material is the material containing no carbon in the basic skeleton (main chain) of the porous body, moreover, the inorg./org. hybrid-based material is a material in which the org. group containing one or more than two carbon atoms is incorporated partially in the basic skeleton (main chain).
