Title:
GASIFICATION-INTEGRATED COMBINED POWER PLANT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3709669
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasification-integrated combined power plant that is simple and highly efficient.
SOLUTION: A heat-recovery boiler 3 of an existent steam generator is additionally provided with a heat exchanger that utilizes gaseous nitrogen 12 that is obtained by the separation of air 10 in an air separator 1 and is once heated up as the heat absorbing medium, to thereby decrease the temperature of its product gas 31 through the heat absorption of the nitrogen 12, which is thereafter mixed with refined gas 41 and put into a combustor 52 in a gas turbine 5. Alternatively, the nitrogen 12 of relatively lower temperature that the separator 1 produces is mixed with the product gas 31, the heat of which is absorbed away in the boiler 3 for temperature reduction, and is put into gas refined equipment 4. Such a simple system enables the heat absorbed away in the boiler 3 to produce no losses in heat input in the turbine 5 to thus improve the plant thermal efficiency.
