(1) The gasification melting method for combustibles has steps of carrying out (a) operation of cooling produced gas produced in gasification melting treatment by spraying cooling liquid to the produced gas produced in the gasification melting treatment, using produced gas subjected to cleaning treatment, and/or (b) operation of backwashing a bag filter for removing dust in the produced gas produced in gasification melting treatment, using the produced gas subjected to cleaning treatment. (2) The gasification melting device for carrying out the gasification melting method in (1) comprises produced gas recycling piping 14 for supplying the produced gas F finished with cleaning treatment to a gas cooling device 3 and/or the bag filter 6.
