Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gasket which can surely make the water proof seal and electromagnetic shield.
SOLUTION: The gasket has a bend 3a having a trapezoidal section which is formed along a ring-like conductive seal 31 and nipped between two opposed seal faces 1a, 2a to make the water proof seal and electromagnetic shield with the deformed bend 3a and a water proof seal material 32 is applied on slopes 3b extending from the middle section of the bend 3a so as to cover bend parts 3c, 3d at both ends of the slopes 3b. The bend parts 3c, 3d coated with the water proof seal material 32 are pressed by the faces 1a, 2a to attain a water proof seal, and bend parts 3f, 3e with the stripped conductive seal material 31 are pressed by the faces 1a, 2a to attain an electromagnetic shield.
