Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate device in which false entry of a user is hard to occur.SOLUTION: A gate device includes a blocking member 4 for blocking a passage, and a lifting/lowering device 5 for making the blocking member 4 move up and down. Multiple LEDs 8 are disposed in the blocking member 4, and lighting control means is provided for lighting multiple LEDs 8 in a different lighting pattern according to the lifting or lowering of the blocking member 4, prior to the lifting/lowering operation of the blocking member 4. The lighting control means makes multiple LEDs 8 emit light by the lighting pattern for notifying a user of lifting of the blocking member 4 prior to a lifting motion of the blocking member 4, and makes multiple LEDs 8 emit light by the lighting pattern for notifying the user of lowering of the blocking member 4 prior to the lowering motion of the blocking member 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
