Abstract:
To provide a gate device which is easily installed.SOLUTION: A gate device 1 is a device which opens/closes a passage using a movable arm 2. The gate device 1 comprises the movable arm 2, a support part 3, an energization part 4 and a brake part 5. The support part 3 supports a base end part of the movable arm 2 to enable the arm to rotate horizontally. The energization part 4 generates an energization force in a direction to make the movable arm 2 return to a home position. The brake part 5 brakes the movable arm 2. The movable arm 2 closes the passage at the home position and a deflection angle θ from the home position is changed when pushed. Then, when the deflection angle θ stops changing, the brake part 5 brakes the movable arm 2 to keep the deflection angle θ for a prescribed time, and after elapse of the prescribed time, releases the braking.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
