Abstract:
To provide a gate device in which factors that obstruct driving of a gate are eliminated regardless of weather such as snowfall or the environment such as extremely cold regions so as to reliably attain a normal operation and a release recovery operation.SOLUTION: A gate device 1 is provided with a release return driving portion such as a rotation driving portion 22 which, upon releasing operation in which a gate bar 16 in the side-lying position is arranged so as to block the road at the time restricting the passage of vehicles, followed by the gate bar 16 leaving from a gate bar base 15 and then rotating about a rotation axis 51 in the vehicle traveling direction, moves a release return portion such as a rotary part 13 to hold the gate bar on the gate bar base. The release return driving portion is configured to increase the operating force for moving and operating the release return portion as the release return portion is closer to the start position of the release return operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
