To provide a gate door structure including: a lock unit and a gate door structure with excellent operability, not susceptible to limitation of face and depth dimensions of a vertical frame of a gate door, attaining not only unconventional and high design but also good harmony with design of a gate door, and having safety.
A lock case 8c is provided between an upper vertical frame and a lower vertical frame constituting a vertical frame on the door stop side of the gate door rotatably supported on a gatepost, the lock case 8c is provided with a connecting part connected to the gate door, and a lock mechanism is provided in the inside of the lock case 8c. The gate door may be a double-hinged gate door, or one gate door of the gate door may be a master door and the other gate door may be a slave door.
