Abstract:
PURPOSE:To effectively detect the damage of an SCR itself and the disconnection or the like of a gate pulse circuit by monitoring the temperature of the SCR itself and a pulse signal and detecting the unbalance current of an SCR bridge. CONSTITUTION:A gate pulse is applied from a pulse generator 14 to respective SCRs 9, a temperature detector 22 is mounted on each SCR9, and set to become ON at the atmosphere temperature, e.g., 40 deg.C or lowr. The temperature of the SCR at the normal operation time is 100 deg.C or higher, and if the SCR9 does not operate due to any reason, the temperature of the SCR decreased to the atmospheric temperature. Accordingly, the defect of the SCR of the malfunction of the gate pulse circuit can be detected. As to the defect of the gate generator and the stop of the generator, it blocks the temperature detector, and a pulse normal signal 17 is accordingly inputted to an AND gate 19.
