Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate valve which achieves a high work efficiency even when a passage of a fluid pipe having a large diameter is blocked.SOLUTION: A gate valve includes: a valve box 2 attached to a fluid pipe; a valve lid 3 in which a plate-like valve body 4 is housed; and a fastening mechanism which fastens the valve box 2 to the valve lid 3. In the valve body 4, a body part 42 located within the valve lid 3 and a protruding part 41 protruding to the outside of the valve lid 3 are integrally formed before the valve lid 3 is fastened to the valve box 2. The gate valve includes guide mechanisms 40a, 27 which guide insertion of the protruding part 41 into an opening part 23 of the valve box 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
