Abstract:
To reduce a stress generating in a dedendum side in engagement with a mating gear and provide teeth with high strength.
A gear has a plurality of teeth 3 and transmits rotational motion by engagement with teeth of a mating gear. A shape (b) of each tooth 3 in a dedendum side is the same as a shape generated by gear cutting with a rack type cutter, in its tip, having a round portion with a curve defined by a hyperbolic function.
