Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make shifting operation without separating hand from the grip of a steering bar and enhance the easiness in works by locating a shift lever near the grip.
CONSTITUTION: Cam plates 16, 17 fixed to the two ends of a shaft 14 are rotated at certain angle intervals by moving a shift lever 12. Thereby operational arms 18, 19 are reversibly swung through contacting pieces 18a, 19a which contact with the peripheries of the cam plates 16, 17, and one of the operating wires 20, 21 connected with the arms 18, 19 is tracted while the other is slackened. Thereby it is made practicable to operate a transmission installed on the machine body side. Because located near the grip of a steering bar 10, the shift lever 12 can be handled without separating hand from the grip. This allows stabilizing the working attitude, enhancing the easiness in works, and ensuring the safety of the operator.
