Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear box which can form a gear box excellent in a sealing property in a short time.SOLUTION: On one of a pair of opposite side plates 41a and 41b of a gear box 34, gear assembling holes 44a and 44b are respectively provided at positions opposite to an input gear and an output gear 38, and on other side plate 41b, gear assembling hole 44c is provided at a position opposite to idle gears 36 and 37. On outer peripheries of covers 46 and 47 respectively blocking the gear assembling holes 44b and 44c other than the gear assembling hole 44a for the input gear, annular edges 50 and 55 contacted with a tapered surface 45 formed at opening end portions of the gear assembling holes 44b and 44c are provided. By welding the annular edges 50 and 55 contacting portions, respective pairs of opposite gear supporting portions 51 and 56 are coaxially provided on respective opposite surfaces of the covers 46 and 47 and the side plates 41a and 41b, thereby rotatably supporting the respective gears.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
