Abstract:

PURPOSE: To shorten working time on a mold and to provide an intermediate member and a method for preparation both improving productivity for obtaining a molding with a gelcoat layer used for a flooring material and a wall material of a bath room.

CONSTITUTION: A method for preparation of a gelcoat sheet 3 for a molding wherein a base sheet 1 is coated with a transparent, semitransparent or a colored untransparent uncured gelcoat resin 2 wherein a curing agent and a chain transfer agent are incorporated in advance and curing treatment is performed to make the gelcoat resin 2 to a semicured condition and then the base film 1 is peeled off and a method for preparation of a molding with a gelcoat layer wherein a gelcoat sheet 3 for a molding is laminated with a molding material on a mold and is molded by pressing and heating, are provided.
