To provide a gene analysis method suitable for fully automatic game analyzer or fully automatic gene diagnostic device and capable of simplifying the constitution and miniaturizing and lightening the device, inexpensively preparing the device, suppressing use of valves in the analysis system as much as possible, preventing cross contamination and simultaneously realizing a plurality of gene analyses from different kinds of samples and an analyzer therefor.
This gene analysis method comprises extracting a target nucleic acid from a biological sample 23, amplifying target DNA, supplying a reaction liquor L containing definite DNA into solid phase DNA probes 53, 64, 65 and 66 aligned in series or in parallel at a definite temperature and separating DNA complementary with the solid phase DNA probes. The gene analysis method is characterized by providing a plural number of solid phase DNA probes 53, 64, 65 and 66 at least part of which can be controlled at the double- strand forming temperature of the test DNA and introducing the reaction liquor L containing the same or different DNAs after the amplification into these solid phase DNA probes 53, 64, 65 and 66.
