Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce a work for generating an executing program from a user program to a system program in the case of monitoring the abnormalities of general-purpose input/output ports. CONSTITUTION:For executing a work program, the program is executed which turns ON the general-purpose output port 1 connected to an air bulb. At such a time the system program activates a monitor execution initialization module and starts monitoring the designated general-purpose input port 5 registered in a general-purpose input/output monitoring abnormality table. When the monitor execution starts, a remaining time decreases by a time processing module which is activated at every fixed time. When a sensor 4 is switched ON within a designated time, a monitor stop processing module is activated and the monitor is stopped. If the sensor 4 is not switched ON within the designated time, the remaining time becomes zero (0) and an abnormality processing module is activated to display on the display means the number of the general-purpose output port 1 and the code of the general-purpose input port 5, thereby informing an operator of the abnormalities.
