PURPOSE: To decrease the errors and the manhour in generation of a computer controlled statement by storing the standard control statements corresponding to plural executing jobs and selecting and changing necessary control statements based on the executing job selection information and the change instruction parameter information.
CONSTITUTION: An arithmetic processor 20 stores first the executing job selection information showing one of jobs #1W#n to be executed and received from an input/output device 10 into a secondary memory 30. Then the processor 20 selects a standard catalog file corresponding to the designated job cut of a standard control statement catalog file group 32 to copy the file to a prescribed area A of the memory 30 and also to display it on the device 10. In case plural control statements stored in the memory 30 have changes, the change instruction parameter information is supplied from the device 10. The processor 20 changes the control statement of the catalog file stored in the area A based on said parameter information to define an executing job computer statement. In such a way, a computer control statement is obtained just by changing partly the control statement contained in a catalog file.
