To design and control the HR-GSHP system.SOLUTION: The operation design method of a geothermal heat recovery heat pump 11 system 10 includes a first calculation step in which the load carried by a plurality of geothermal heat pumps 11 is calculated for each of a plurality of short periods obtained by dividing a long period of time of the loads to be loaded predicted over a predetermined long period, a second calculation step that calculates the total heat collection amount and the total heat dissipation amount of the plurality of geothermal heat pumps 11 for each short period divided, and an operation design step that designs the operation of the plurality of geothermal heat pumps 11 every short period so that the total heat collection amount and the total heat dissipation amount are equal to or less than a first limit value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
