Abstract:
To provide a germicidal composition which is proper of being utilized in various facilities such as a food service industry, a hospital, a school and a livestock factory, a home, etc., and is improved in sterilizing power, and to provide a sterilizing power-promoting method for further promoting the sterilizing power of hinokitiol.
This germicidal composition comprises 100 pts.wt. of hinokitiol and/or its salt and 400-20,000 pts.wt. of an inorganic salt. The sterilizing power- promoting method for enhancing the sterilizing power of the composition is to formulate 100 pts.wt. of hinokitiol and/or its salt with 400-20,000 pts.wt. of an inorganic salt.
