The toy 10 includes a sound recording button 28 and a recorded sound reproducing button 22, and the sender of the toy presses the sound recording button 28 of the toy, records the message to the effect of giving the toy as a gift and sends the toy to a recipient. The recipient of the toy presses the recorded sound reproducing button 22 of the toy, reproduces the recorded message and thus recognizes the gift-giving effect of the toy.
