Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the front part of a girdle having stretchability at the waist part and accordingly free from the trouble of tightness when the girdle is put on and off by crossing over plural backing cloths having little stretchability at the backside of the front part of a body cloth and sewing both the right and left edges on the body cloth.
SOLUTION: A pair of backing cloths 4, 5 having little stretchability are crossed over to each other at the backside of the front part of a body cloth 1 having stretchability. The upper edges 4d, 5d of both the backing cloths 4, 5 are left free without sewing on the center of the front side of the waist part, and the right and left edges are sewn on the body cloth 1. Further, it is preferable that both the backing cloths 4, 5 are each designed in a smaller size in advance and they are sewed on the body cloth l under stretching the whole pieces of the cloths obliquely upward.
