To provide a glass breakage sensor capable of intimidating an intruder before breakage of a glass plate.
A piezoelectric element 2 for converting the vibration of the glass plate to a voltage signal is housed in a housing mounted on the glass plate. When a vibration not breaking the glass plate is applied to the glass plate, and a preliminary alarm comparative circuit 35a outputs a preliminary alarm signal based on the output of the piezoelectric element 2, a light emitting diode drive circuit 37 intimidates the intruder by flashing a light emitting diode 4. When the glass plate is broken, and a main alarm comparative circuit 35b outputs a main alarm signal based on the output of the piezoelectric element 2, the light emitting diode drive circuit 37 flashes the light emitting diode 4, and a buzzer drive circuit 38 rings a buzzer 5.
