Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a glass coating material provided with an arbitrary pattern containing a readily colored part and an uncolored part on the surface of coated layer of glass by coloring an arbitrary part.
CONSTITUTION: This glass coating material is obtained by coating the surface of a glass coating layer partially containing an ion exchange inhibitor with a coating agent containing a metal salt and coloring a part not containing the ion exchange inhibitor by subjecting ions in the glass coating layer and metal ions from the metal salt in the coating agent to ion exchange in the part not containing the ion exchange inhibitor of the glass coating layer.
