PURPOSE: To provide glass composition for thick film resistance paste which contains the composition to contain glass frit that stably holds pyrochlore-type conductive powder without decomposing it while being baked.

CONSTITUTION: Glass composition contains the following materials by 90% or more in total; 35-65wt.% of PbO, 25-50wt.% of Sin2, 1-10wt.% of Al2O3, 0.1-5wt.% of B2O3, B2O3+ZnO≤8, 0.5-10wt.% of CaO and 0-10wt.% of MgO.
