Abstract:

To provide a glass exhibiting a high Young's modulus.

This glass composition is provided by setting ranges of compositions of main component on ≥65 wt.% and ≤80 wt.% SiO2, ≥3 wt.% and ≤15 wt.% Al2O3, ≥0.1 wt.% and ≤12 wt.% MgO, ≥3 wt.% and ≤12 wt.% LiO2, and ≥5 wt.% and ≤22 wt.% ZnO.
