Abstract:

To provide such an inner seal structure as being capable of ensuring seal between a door glass and a door when a window is closed, without slide contact on the room side face of the door glass when the door glass which is moved up and down against the door of an automobile to allow the window to be open/closed is moved up and down.

An inner seal structure 42 consists of a protruded seal member 30 provided on te room side face of a door glass 23 and a contact face 31 formed on a door lining 25 opposed to the room side face 30 to move up the door glass 23 for putting the seal member 30 in contact therewith when a window is closed. The seal member 39 is put in contact with the contact face only when the window is closed and separated from the contact face when the window is open. The inner seal structure 42 is prevented from slide contact with the room side face of the door glass, which leads to conventional slide frictional resistance, when the door glass is moved up and down, so that up-and- down driving force of the door glass can be reduced accordingly.
