Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of glass capable of manufacturing desired glass excellently.SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of glass, molten glass is cast from an outflow port 1 on the upper side into a vessel-shaped template 2 on the lower side, and then cooled, to thereby manufacture flat glass whose one side is 300 mm or more. The method includes a casting step in which a bottom part 3 of the template 2 is formed by combining a plurality of blocks 5, and the molten glass is cast, while moving the template 2 to the outflow port 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
