Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass pulverization method capable of obtaining glass powders having desired particle sizes with high productivity when obtaining the glass powders having desired particle sizes by pulverizing a glass film.SOLUTION: A glass pulverization method to obtain glass powders having desired particle sizes by pulverizing a glass film Gf formed with a glass melt Gm comprises: a coarse pulverization step to obtain glass pieces Gc by coarsely pulverizing the glass film Gf; and a finishing pulverization step to pulverize the glass pieces Gc by a cage mill and to obtain the glass powders having the desired particle sizes. A cooling transport step to transport the glass pieces Gc while cooling is possessed between the coarse pulverization step and the finishing pulverization step.
