To provide a glass pulverizer high in mechanical strength, improve in durability and enhanced in the workability of glass pulverization.
By a lower motor 13, a lower metal mill part 11 is rotated in one direction, and by an upper motor 14, an upper metal mill part 12 is rotated in the other direction. Glass pieces (a) in a feeding box 19 are passed through a feeding hole 12b and fed between the glass pulverizing surfaces 11a, 12a and are crushed by the weight of the upper metal mill part 12. At the same time, forces of compression, impact, shearing, friction, and cutting are applied to them to finely pulverize them. Since a mill method is adopted, the mechanical strength of a glass pulverizer 10 is increased to improve the durability thereof. The obtained glass powder becomes homogenous. By continuously feeding the glass pieces (a), continuous pulverization is performed. Therefore, the workability of pulverization of the glass pieces (a) is increased.
