Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass roll production method capable of controlling a winding position of a glass sheet without breaking the glass sheet.SOLUTION: The glass roll production method for winding a glass sheet 10 around a winding core 110 for producing a glass roll 190 comprises an adjustment step for monitoring a position of a side end 11 of the glass sheet 10 to the winding core 110 and adjusting distribution of a winding radius of the glass sheet 10 in a winding shaft direction based on the monitoring result, and then adjusting the winding position of the glass sheet 10 wound around the winding core 110.
