Abstract:
To maintain for a long time glass of a handrail surface to which a coating film comprising an ulbaviolet curing type paint is applied.
A waste cloth 13 impregnated with water is brought into contact with a coating film formed in a surface of a handrail 2, and wet wiping for the coating film is carried out once a day by moving the handrail 2. A contact mark caused by a driven roller 9b and a foreign maker such as dust deposited on the surface of the coating film are removed by this manner. The handrail 2 for a passenger conveyer keeps thereby an excellent appearance after renewal of the handrail 2.
