Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose a global automatic roaming service method by which a domestic subscriber can select a service in a foreign country and that can provide a normal mobile phone service to a visiting foreign subscriber.
SOLUTION: The method of this invention includes a step (a) where information relating to the global roaming service subscription of each mobile station is respectively stored in a profile of each subscriber, a step (b) where IDs of all MSCs(Mobile Switching Centers) available for service provision are stored into a database of an HLR(Home Location Register), a step (c) where whether or not a registered notice message is entered from an MSC of other service system is discriminated on the basis of the ID of the MSC sent the registration notice message and the ID of the MSC stored in the database of the HLR, and a step where information relating as to whether or not a mobile station is a normal mobile station is transmitted to the MSC on the basis of the presence of subscription to the global roaming service stored in the profile when the registration notice message is entered by the MSC of the other service system.
