PURPOSE: To provide a golf ball for a driving range having a good drive feeling equivalent to a round golf ball and suppressed in flying distance to be suitable for use in a small driving range.

CONSTITUTION: A rubber composition having a polybutadiene having at least 40% or more of cis-1,4-configuration as a base rubber and containing an isoprene-styrene block copolymer in the ratio of 2-50 parts by weight in 100 parts by weight of the base rubber component is cured and molded to manufacture a golf ball for a driving range of one-layer structure or a golf ball for a driving range of two-layer structure. Examples of the isoprene-styrene block copolymer include (1) a tri-block copolymer in which polystyrene is bonded to polyisoprene, (2) a copolymer in which a glass transition temperature is set in the room temperature area by making mainly the structure of the polyisoprene in (1) vinyl bonding, and (3) a hydrogenated material of (2).
