Abstract:
To provide a golf ball and its manufacturing method capable of obtaining longer carry and obtaining soft feelings when hitting.
A golf ball is provided with a spherical core 1, a plurality of ribs 3 formed on the surface of the core 1, an intermediate layer 5 filled in a recessed part 4 surrounded by the ribs 3, and a cover 7 for covering the intermediate layer 5. The ribs 3 extend so that their widths increase as they approach the core 1 side from the cover 7 side. The recessed part 4 is formed into a cone shape by the side faces of the ribs 3. Hardness increases from the core 1, the ribs 3, the intermediate layer 5, and the cover 7 in this order.
