To provide a golf ball excellent in resilience having a good flight performance which can be produced with high productivity by shortening vulcanizing time.
A vulcanized product of a rubber component containing: (A) a rubber substrate including polybutadiene having 60 mass% or more of cis-1,4-bonding and a molecular weight distribution of 2.0-6.0; (B) an unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or its metal salt; (C) an inorganic filler; and (D) one or more kinds of specific organic peroxides, is adapted to a constitution member selected from the group consisting of a one-piece golf ball, the solid core of a two-piece solid golf ball, the solid core of a multi-piece solid golf ball, and the center core of a thread-winding golf ball. As the main material of a cover for covering the core, the golf ball uses either a single specific thermoplastic or thermosetting resin material, or a mixture of two or more such kinds.
